About Me

"Words matter. And a writer's first job is to find the right ones - the ones that build trust between author and reader, that bring a story fully alive." - Joe Klein

Every great story starts with intense observation. As a former New York City journalist honored by the Society of Professional Journalists for 'Best Feature', I learned that whether it's a breaking news story or a case study on the application of blockchain to the healthcare industry, the fundamentals remain the same: find the human element, capture the salient details, and write with a deep personal interest in the reader's experience.

Today, I bring that journalistic instinct to my work as a content strategist and creative copywriter, crafting compelling narratives for Fortune 500 companies and leading enterprise IT firms. I'm the author of "Winemakers of the Willamette Valley" (The History Press), and my background spans corporate communications, marketing, public relations, media relations, feature writing, but also business development.

In my leisure time, I enjoy Oregon's scenic landscapes, golfing with my partner, and spoiling our Australian Shepherd and chatty Quaker parrot.

"The great thing about journalism is that you're out in the world chasing stories, meeting fascinating people, and learning how to notice those small details that make a story come alive." - David Halberstam
